Project Overview
The video surveillance project aims to set up a comprehensive public security video surveillance system to integrate and share video surveillance information and resources.
The system will cover all entrances and exits, places (such as stations and ports) involving frequent employee movement, main road around the campus, Up to 263 cameras (75 HD intelligent dome cameras, 175 HD box cameras, and 13 PTZ HD cameras) will be distributed in the Campus to provide video surveillance of 90% areas in the Campus.
The main control room, central equipment room, and management platform will be constructed for the digital network–based video surveillance system.
| # | Business Challenges | Xetrocube Solutions | Project Outcome |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Right balance between ensuring security through CCTV and respecting individuals’ privacy. | Prioritize real-time monitoring and analytics. | Monitor the network for suspicious activities. |
| 2 | Managing the scalability of video surveillance systems and integrating them seamlessly with existing infrastructure can be complex and resource-intensive. | Ensure scalability for future expansion. | Better employee productivity and customer satisfaction. |
| 3 | The amount of data generated by cameras requires efficient storage solutions and robust data management strategies. | Deploy a secure, dedicated CCTV network, Use PoE switches and VLAN for efficiency. | Easy VMS management with centralized system administration |
| 4 | Protecting from potential cyber threats, and ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of the captured footage is a constant. | Implement centralized, redundant storage Set up automated backups, and consider cloud storage. | 25% Cost savings on system maintenance. |
| 5 | Encrypt data in transit and at rest. |
