Project Overview
CLIENT is one of the largest international school groups, a multicultural organization of accredited schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, offering sophisticated, world-class modern education with over 5,000 students and staff.
The school management decided to promote modern digital education opportunities and decided to join Xetrocube to make their dream a reality. This project focuses on the design, implementation, and management of a robust network infrastructure using Cisco devices to support the communications requirements of a large organization. This project includes network planning, hardware selection, configuration and maintenance to ensure a secure and efficient network environment.
It provides secure connectivity for users, devices and applications across the enterprise. Optimize performance by implementing advanced network features such as quality of service (QoS), virtual local area networks (VLANs), and routing protocols.
Network design and architecture: Assess your organization’s needs and design a scalable network topology that includes redundancy, fault tolerance, and efficient traffic flow.
Hardware Selection: Determine the appropriate Cisco devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, based on your network design and expected traffic volume.
Device Configuration: Configure Cisco devices according to best practices, including IP addressing, routing protocols, security policies, VLANs, and access control mechanisms.
Network security: Implement strong security measures to protect your network from unauthorized access, including firewall configurations, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access control lists.
Network monitoring and management: Deploy network monitoring tools to monitor performance, diagnose problems, and optimize resource utilization. Implement a centralized management system for efficient device management and configuration updates
| # | Business Challenges | Xetrocube Solutions | Project Outcome |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | As the syllabus and study materials are digitalized, schools need a stable infrastructure to address the digital future | Implemented a campus-wide reliable, stable, secure, and highspeed centralized Cisco Wi-Fi solution with a WLAN controller and indoor and outdoor access | Campus-wide unified high-performance and highly secured Wi-Fi infrastructure |
| 2 | Improve user experience against growing numbers of mobile users and | Ensuring reliable, high-speed digital learning over a Cisco Catalyst switching | Enhance student and staff experience by enjoying the fruit of digital learning frameworks by accessing to classes and other resources from anywhere on the campus. |
| 3 | Wi-Fi availability in different types of facilities like classrooms, labs, Mediaroom, auditoriums, outdoor spaces, and administrative | Implemented the bring-your-own-device (BYOD) concept, working with the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). | Teachers got more confidence in using digital online resources and were less worried about technical issues. |
| 4 | Reduce the cost and effort of system management and maintenance | Optimal uptime management with Cisco Smart Net Total Care service | Improved bring-your-own-device (BYOD) connectivity, efficiency, and safety with a connected campus. |
| 5 | Looking for a scalable solution to benefit from new technology and BYOD framework. |
