Project Overview
Requirements of this project include hardware devices for computing, storage, and networking, and upper-layer software.
Huawei provides an End-to-End solution for the High-Performance Computing (HPC) Cluster, Huawei’s solution includes all the required Hardware, software, and related services, directly from HPC project deployment involves setting up a robust computing environment designed to handle complex and data-intensive tasks with remarkable speed and efficiency.
This typically includes configuring supercomputers, clusters, or cloud-based resources, installing specialized software, and optimizing the system for parallel processing.
HPC deployments are pivotal in scientific research, engineering simulations, and data-intensive industries, enabling organizations to tackle computationally demanding challenges effectively, such as weather modeling, drug discovery, and artificial intelligence applications.
These projects require meticulous planning, hardware integration, and software customization to harness the full potential of high-performance computing resources. With the development of information technology, the traditional method of performing tasks (such as simulation, data processing, and data analysis) on a single node cannot meet the requirements for computing accuracy and efficiency.
That’s why high-performance parallel computing appeared. HPC clusters improve work efficiency through parallel processing on multiple nodes as well as upgrade of legacy old storage servers to Huawei Kunlun Storage Servers.
